The Togoshi Ginza Shopping District is located next to Togoshi-Ginza Station on the Tokyu Ikegami Line. At 1.3 kilometers in length, it is one of the longest shopping districts in the Kanto region. There are roughly 400 shops lining this lively shopping street, which is visited by over 10,000 customers every weekday. The mascot character Togoshi Ginjiro (“Gin-chan” for short), who appears at various district events and is a favorite with children.
